TRAVELING ALONE IN DUBAI

TRAVELING ALONE IN DUBAI

Travelling alone in Dubai is far from boring.
Many activities, visits and discoveries are possible as solo travelers. From fun to relaxation, the choice is yours.
Dubai offers plenty to explore, with many unique sites such as desert safaris, old traditional souks, shopping malls, beautiful beaches, beach clubs, incredible water parks and more.
Whether you choose the mild season (October to April) or the warm season (May to September), you can alternate between indoor and outdoor activities on your own.
The United Arab Emirates is a land of many expatriates. It's one of the safest countries in the world, so if you're a woman traveling alone, you're safe. Many languages are spoken in Dubai, but English is the main one (Arabic is the official language).

Safety :

Whether you're a man or a woman, you can travel to Dubai alone in complete safety. Dubai has strict laws against crime, so you'll feel safe whether you're out alone by day or night.

Crime rates are super low, and theft and violent crime are extremely rare. Our experience: as expatriate women in Dubai, we've never felt in danger here (never had anything stolen and never felt in danger of any kind of attack). Also, video surveillance is commonplace in downtown Dubai.

As a solo woman in Dubai, rest assured that you're in a country where the laws are taken very seriously.

Budget :
Dubai is accessible to all budgets for solo travelers. If you're looking for luxury tourism and have a high budget, you'll find what you're looking for. If you're on a small or medium budget, there are plenty of hotels, excursions, activities and restaurants to suit all tastes.
- Airline tickets: take into account the season you have chosen for your stay and your budget.
- Accommodation: depending on the season and the standard of the hotels, the gap in your budget for Dubai can vary considerably.
- Transportation: Whether you choose to rent a car, cab or metro in Dubai, your choice of means of transport will inevitably impact your Dubai budget.
- Meals: Take into account the different types of restaurant to stay within your budget: fast food/cheap restaurant/ambient restaurant/luxury restaurant
- Activities / visit: At SOL DE DUBAÏ, we offer a wide range of activities to suit all budgets. Among our best-sellers and a Must To Do in Dubai: the Safari + Quad / Buggy + Bedouin Dinner combo (from 107.80 $ / ~ 96 EUR).

Accommodation :
Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah are two of Dubai's most famous resorts and the best for luxury travelers.
Downtown Dubai is also a popular area to stay, close to Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall.
All beach lovers prefer to stay in the Jumeirah Beach Residences area, where you can book any accommodation, from medium to high budget.
For budget travelers, we recommend the Al Barsha district next to Mall of Emirates or Tecom.
On the whole, for long-term travelers, it's more economical to book hotel apartments.
