Bab Al Shams, is a 5* hotel located in the heart of the desert between Dubai's highest red sand dunes, a 45-minute drive from the new city center. Bab Al Shams boasts several pools and jacuzzis, a children's pool and a family pool.

It opens its doors to the public every day of the week from 8am to 8pm.

There are only two ways to get to the hotel: by cab or with your own vehicle. At the pool, you'll find a changing room and secure lockers for your belongings. Towels are provided on site and deckchairs are included in the entrance fee, as is lunch in the poolside restaurant, with a high-quality, varied all-you-can-eat buffet from 12 to 3.30pm.

To get there, you don't need to book in advance - you can pay directly on the spot.

Finally, the wearing of the Burkini is authorized.

In the late afternoon, around 4pm, on certain days you can admire a hawk hunting or take a camel ride, as well as enjoy their rooftop lounge, Al Sarab, where you can watch the sunset and enjoy live music from 6pm.

Within Bab Al Shams, you can dine in several restaurants, the most popular of which is Al Hadeerah with its giant buffet. This restaurant is animated throughout the evening, until around 11.30pm, by dance performances and singers, the evening is in full swing every night and is illuminated by a fireworks display which takes place every Thursday and Friday at around 9pm.
